As part of our commitment to reassure you when booking, we have reduced our deposit requirement to just one night provided that the reservation is cancelled in writing at least 3 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. And if you do need to cancel, we'll complete our refund process within 2 business days.
TCI Entry Requirements
The Turks and Caicos Government has announced that effective September 1, 2021, all visitors 16 years of age and above, must be "fully vaccinated." Fully vaccinated means that the person has received one of the following COVID-19 vaccine protocols at least a full 14 days PRIOR to travel -- the single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine or 2 successive doses of one of these vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, or AstraZeneca. Submission of proof of being fully vaccinated, and proof of a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR, NAA, RNA or Antigen test taken within 3 days of arrival is required for entry/travel authorization by the Turks and Caicos Government. Proof of vaccination includes a vaccination letter signed by a medical professional (physician or registered nurse with license number) or one printed from an electronic vaccination data base. While visitors ages 10-15 do not need a vaccine, they must have COVID 19 negative test result. Visitors under age 10 do not need a COVID 19 test. Additionally, visitors must submit proof of medical / travel insurance that covers medevac, and a completed health screening questionnaire. Curfew & Mask Requirement
The Turks and Caicos Government has issued a nightly curfew on all islands from 1 AM until 5 AM until August 31, 2021. All businesses must close at midnight on all islands. The mask mandate is extended through 30 September 2021.
CDC Expands Negative COVID-19 Test Requirement to All Air Passengers Entering the United States
The U.S. Government Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced that starting January 26th, all air passengers, aged two and up, entering the United States from a foreign country must get tested (with results received) no more than 3 days before their flight departs and must present the negative result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding the flight. Government Requirement for Visitors Leaving TCI
Any fully vaccinated visitor who tests positive prior to leaving the Turks and Caicos Islands will be required to quarantine with all accompanying persons at their own expense for ten days, then undergo a mandatory COVID-19 test on day seven prior to release.
Windsong's Covid-19 Protocols
The safety of our staff and guests is our highest priority at Windsong. As such, we have implemented a range of protocols to ensure that we are doing everything possible to provide a safe environment for all. From Virtual Touchless Check-in to the simple but vital placement of no-touch sanitizer dispenser stations throughout the resort, to the hiring of staff whose sole responsibility it is to repeatedly sanitize every touchable surface in our rooms and resort, to the installation of germicidal air purification UV lights and/or Hepa filters in our air conditioning units, Windsong is ready and excited to host you in paradise. To be sure, "We're Better Together" and ask that guests please join us in these four very important practices during their stay:
- Social Distancing -- Look for our floor decals and stand 6' from employees and other guests. When waiting in line, Stand only with one other person in your group. Ride the elevator only with members of your family/party.
- Hand Cleaning -- Wash your hands often with our "No Touch" hand sanitizers placed throughout the resort.
- Cleaning of Hi-Touch Items -- Wipe phones, purses, room cards, door knobs, light switches, etc. with resort provided sanitizing wipes.
- Respiratory Hygiene -- Avoid coughing on others. Wear a mask or face covering as mandated by the government.
