Perfect Getaway!!!!!!February 2018 • rockies475
The Windsong Resort is the perfect place to go and forget about all of the normal hustle and bustle of life.
The Resort is super clean and ALL of the employees were so friendly and helpful. We had a 2 bedroom, oceanfront room that was immaculate. A full sized kitchen and washer and dryer made it feel like home. The furniture and beds were super comfortable... Read more of the review
The beach was awesome, with the reef right out of your front door. We snorkeled everyday, with lots of fish and several turtles on a regular basis. They rent the snorkel gear for $5 a day. They also have paddleboards, canoes and kayaks that have a glass bottom so you can see the fish if you are not into snorkeling. All complimentary for the guests. The beach itself is narrow at this resort, which I liked because every lounge chair is front row. Never had a problem getting a chair on the beach or pool, anytime of day. The sand is super soft and you can walk forever on the beach. The resort also has bicycles for their guests, which was very nice as the resort itself is on the quiet end of the beach. A little distance from the main shopping area. With the bikes you are able to access a couple of different restaurants without having to walk a long way. Like I said it is on the quiet end of the beach, so if relaxing is what you want, this is the place for you. It is only a 15 minute walk to the islands Thursday night fish fry that is a very popular event every week. All other resorts shuttle people to this, but it was nice to be able to come and go on your own time. The hotel does have a small exercise room that has 2 treadmills, a couple of recumbent bikes, medicine balls, a weight machine and also a bench with a rack of dumbbells. We went a couple of mornings at different times and never had a problem getting a treadmill. As I said, the employees were all super nice and eager to assist you with whatever you might need. We did rent a car one day. We spoke to the concierge, Thank you Khalil, and he had a car delivered in about 20 minutes. Total was $75(with insurance) for 24 hours. There is a small cafe on site that serves food all day. A continental breakfast was included with our stay and was a perfect start to each day. Also, they have happy hour from 5-7 each night with buy one get one free on their drinks. Overall, this was a great Resort that lets you relax and enjoy your vacation without any worries. |
Lovely For Couples And FamilyJanuary 2018 • Traveled as a Couple • Coppertop55
A right-sized boutique hotel right, and I mean right, on the water by the off shore reef. Perfect for water people of all ages. Pleasant staff, restaurant has straightforward breakfasts and some very yummy options at lunch. Didn't try for dinner. Guest room was comfortable clean modern. All I ever need.... excellent massage at spa. Weight room minimal but nice to have. Pool full lap length. Concierge is well meaning but not particularly knowledgeable. You will do better with your own internet research. The island is in good shape Excellent yoga available on the island at Retreat Yoga; SUP at Sup Provo. Tennis at the public center. We do plan to return a third time and probably with more family. |
Beautiful Beachfront ResortJanuary 2018 • Traveled as a Couple • BostonBeachnik
Our second trip to TCI but first stay at Windsong, which was delightful! The suites are beautiful, spacious and spotless and include a full kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit. Breakfast overlooking the pristine beachfront was stunning - were treated to multiple rainbows to boot! Was great to have the reef for snorkeling right in front of the hotel; lots of beautiful shells to be found along the beach as well. Great mojitos at the daily happy hour (buy one get one free). Service was excellent and the staff were so friendly - a huge shout-out to LaVonne, manager of the restaurant, and Larry, who manages the beach gear, who were so nice and full of great recommendations. Highly recommend Windsong - would return in a heartbeat! |
Royalton Made Our TripJanuary 2018 • Traveled as a Couple • oceanspirit2018
The hotel is a perfect size with beautiful one bedroom rooms with spectacular ocean view with a huge deck! (Make sure you have one of these as studios are small and no real view or deck).
Service was excellent from Nicola and Max who took care of our needs at the front desk to Royalton who took care of us every morning as well as on the beach! Read more of the review
Beach and water are phenomenal! I loved our beach, it may seem small but it is perfect and private unlike many of the other resort beaches. The location is nice as because it is quiet but also close enough to explore different resorts and restaurants. Great dinner suggestions as well! Overall it was a great vacation and a great introduction to Turks and Caicos! We were a little worried due to the hurricanes in September of 2017, but I am happy to say the island looks great and the resort is fully operational! I look forward to our next visit!! |
Wonderful Place To VisitJanuary 2018 • Traveled with Family • dguti2018
Windsong is a real boutique hotel, You feel as home, big rooms, incredible views and staff care makes a wonderful place to stay without mention you will be in the best spot of Provo with a reef at sight!!! Great Job Windsong!!!
There are many options in Provo to stay but I can´t imagine a better one even I was 7 times in Provo choosing other options too. Perhaps bigger places but also more crowded. Read more of the review
Other great message, Hurricane not affected seriously the infrastructure of TCI at least at Provo perhaps because it´s relative new comparing other places, You can observe some damage if you look to do that but if you never was there, there´s almost not way to suppose an Hurricane level 5 stroke the islands instead other places at Caribbean were devastation was great. Hotels in general opened days or weeks after the hit, airport 4 days just to break down some comments those makes us to think twice to go there. Luckily we decided to go and was a right decision to do so. |
