Snuba - Surface Nexus Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SNUBA), located at Windsong is for adults and children eight years and older who want a 45-minute underwater adventure on their Turks and Caicos vacation without having to wear heavy dive equipment or have the surface limitations of snorkeling. SNUBA’s expert instructor, provides a thorough orientation on how to use the equipment and walks you into waist deep water to practice.

Caicos Conch Farm - The world’s only conch farm where Caribbean Queen Conchs are raised. See how local experts raise conchs, conch pearls, and even put on a show with trained conchs.

Cheshire Hall - One of Provo’s key historic attractions is the 200 year-old ruins of this former, multi-thousand acre cotton plantation. It stands testament to how much things have progressed since 1822 when the Stubbs plantation enslaved 384 workers.

The Hole - Located in Long Bay, the Hole is a naturally formed massive 40 foot limestone hole. Adventurous visitors can be lowered 80 feet down a rope to a swimming hole.

Q. Is there shopping on Providenciales?

Many shops, boutiques and galleries are concentrated around Grace Bay Beach. You’ll find great island crafts and art work, such as paintings, metal and wood work, and jewelry made from conch shells and pearls. Other unique works include woven baskets, glassware, pottery, handmade dolls, and teak, mahogany and rattan furniture.

Q. Is there nightlife on Providenciales?

The island of Providenciales boasts a number of bars with live entertainment, restaurants and two casinos to enjoy during your Turks and Caicos vacation. Eventhough both casinos offer a full complement of gaming facilities, the Player’s club focuses on poker, offers many tournaments throughout the year and is on the International Poker Series. Chartering a boat for the day is the ideal way to island-hop on your Turks and Caicos vacation. There are many boat chartering companies on the island. Day cruises and guided boat tours to more secluded islands are also available. Flights are another option for travel between islands.

Grand Turk Island’s Cockburn Town is a quintessential Caribbean town with shops, restaurants, and a new cruise ship center with boutiques and Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville. The small Turks and Caicos National Museum with national artifacts and historical photos is also located here.

Salt Cay is a 2.5 square mile UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was once the center of the salt industry and is now home to 65 people, abandoned salt flats, vine-covered dunes, and over 100 wild donkeys.

Middle Caicos and North Caicos have ecotour opportunities, are home to a frigate bird sanctuary, cliffs and cave exploration.
